Welcome to PYJSBA's Spring Softball & Baseball Registration

Your PYJSBA Registration Session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment via credit card or indicate your intention to pay off-line via Venmo, cash, or personal check. Because of changes to the registration system, a credit card must be put on file to complete your child's registration, so IF YOU INTEND ON PAYING OFFLINE, you must “Enroll in Auto Pay” with a valid credit card. HOWEVER, once you make your off-line payment via Venmo, cash, or check, PYJSBA immediately marks your fee as paid, which cancels the auto payment.

  • Once paid on-line or via another option, your account will be marked as paid and the registration process will finalize and send us your information.  If you pay off-line and do so within 30 days,  your credit card will not be charged for the registration fee.  Please have a credit card ready to complete your session; otherwise, we will not receive the registration.
  • Please, carefully read the information below and each page moving forward to ensure you are fully informed and provide all information accurately.
  • PYJSBA is committed to charging families only what is necessary to cover each player's season's costs for equipment, uniforms, field maintenance, team activities, and umpires. As our player numbers continue to rise, so does our need for volunteers. A volunteer program cannot sustain itself without the help of our community. PYJSBA STRONGLY encourages and promotes more community involvement. We are always offering partial and full registration reimbursements for dedicated volunteers. There are always a number of tasks available, which we post on Facebook and email to our registrants.  PLEASE consider assisting us in ensuring the kids have a great season!
  • Teams are formulated based on age and skill levels assessed at evaluations, which we schedule for a time in February.
  • Once PYJSBA assembles Teams, we share access to them via our Sports Engine app.  Please make sure you download the app and become familiar with it.
  • We CAP all teams at 12 players to maximize fair playtime and provide coaches with enough players to play 9 players if a few are absent.
  • Coaches draft players in February after evaluations. To keep rosters competitively fair, we do not accept requests for specific coaches or teammates. However, parents are welcome to contact coaches they know to request that a particular coach add their child to that coach's "draft" list. There is no guarantee that parents or players will get the coach of their choice, but parents should rest assured that ALL of our coaches are fully vetted and certified.
  • PYJSBA recognizes and understands the many scheduling conflicts that are growing with the rise of travel teams and traditional fall sports organizing practices and play in the spring. While we cannot guarantee team placement or practice and game scheduling, only coaches have some say in that, PYJSBA guarantees our players and their families a minimum of 1-2 weeknight experiences (between 5pm and 7pm) along with a guaranteed Saturday game. We are accepting Coaches and Umpires Applications until January 1 if interested. Click HERE to apply. Being a coach is the best way to have a say in your child’s schedule to work around other obligations. Coaches are also free to add additional week night games and practices if there is team interest, field space, and/or umpires are available, but this is NOT required. On Saturdays, Ages 4-8 play between 9am and 12pm. Ages 9-12 play 1pm through 6pm. Ages 13+ play 10am through 4pm. Nothing we offer has mandatory attendance; however, missing practices and games slows development and makes creating game-day lineups difficult for coaches. Also, 40% attendance for game-play is required for 8+ all-star consideration if we are fortunate enough to offer it.
  • To complete registration through our secure site, please have your payment option in mind:
    • Visa or MasterCard. There is a 3.25% +$1.25 fee for processing.
    • Venmo address: is provided at check-out.
    • Checks payable to Pinelands Youth Jersey Shore Baseball are also acceptable, with an additional $25.00 processing fee. Our mailing address: is provided at check-out.
  • There is a $10 Early Bird Discount from now until January 1, which our system applies to each new registration session.
  • If you have questions regarding equipment needed, level change requests, scheduling, volunteering, All-Stars, etc., please visit the Frequently Asked Questions page.
  • Are you registering more than one child for the program?
    • 10% Discount if registering two players.
    • 15% Discount if registering three or more.
  • Included with each registration for Rookies through Babe Ruth, ages 7 through 16, we are again offering "Open Gym Skills & Drills Nights." Our focus is to instruct proper baseball mechanics and many baseball-related aspects in a safe and welcoming environment. This additional incentive is organized and communicated to all qualifying and paid registrants via our Sports Engine app. It runs one night a week beginning in January for six weeks before opening day. Details are provided when you register.
  • Registering Late?
    • Registration for the upcoming spring season remains open until the start of the season in April; however, PYJSBA must complete jersey and hat orders in early February. Registrations received after February 1 incur a $25.00 late fee.
    • Late registrations may receive different uniform materials or versions. Still, they will match as closely as possible to orders. We work as quickly as possible to have hats and jerseys for late registrations as soon as possible.
    • Because we CAP ALL teams at 12 players, and our pool of volunteer coaches is limited, we may be unable to accommodate every late registration. Should we not be able to accommodate late registrations by mid-April, full refunds minus on-line fees imposed by our system will be issued.
    • If we run out of roster spots but have a pool of late registrations large enough to formulate an additional team AND we can assign a coach to it, we will.
  • Pinelands Youth Jersey Shore Baseball wants every child that wants to play baseball to have a chance to play! If you have a financial hardship situation, we encourage you to apply for financial assistance on behalf of your child. For scholarship information, click here.
  • If you have questions before, during, or after the registration process, please do not hesitate to contact our Player and Coach Agent at PYJSBA.playeragent@gmail.com.
